Logbook servicing in Glenorchy
Keep your new-car warranty without dealership prices. As a Repco Authorised Service centre in Glenorchy, Tassie Automotive services your car exactly to the manufacturer's schedule, with quality parts and fluids — and stamps your logbook at every visit.
Logbook Servicing — how we do it
Under Australian consumer law, you're free to service your car at any qualified workshop and your manufacturer warranty remains fully intact — as long as the service follows the logbook schedule with appropriate parts. That's precisely what we do, typically at a healthy saving on dealer pricing. Every logbook service includes the scheduled items for your car's age and kilometres, a multi-point safety check, fluid top-ups and a stamped logbook. We also keep a digital service history in your customer account and remind you by SMS and email when the next service is due. From $199, serving Glenorchy, Moonah, New Town and all of Hobart's northern suburbs.

Logbook Servicing FAQs
Will servicing with you void my new-car warranty?
No. Australian consumer law lets any qualified workshop perform logbook servicing without affecting your manufacturer warranty, provided it's done to schedule with suitable parts — which is exactly how we work, and we stamp the logbook as proof.
How much is a logbook service in Glenorchy?
From $199 for most passenger cars. The exact price depends on what your manufacturer schedules at that interval (some services include extra items like spark plugs or transmission fluid) — we quote before we start.
How long does a logbook service take?
Usually about two hours for a standard interval. Drop your car in the morning and we'll SMS you when it's ready — or wait on site if you prefer.
Do you service European cars?
Yes — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and more, alongside all Japanese and Korean makes. We use oils and parts that meet each manufacturer's specifications.
